mental ephemera

I collect quotes, sayings, pictures, just things in general. I'll write them on receipts, copy and paste it onto a memo, I say I’m kind of a collector of sorts but I'm starting to think I'm just a mental pack rat.

Anyhow, I was clearing my post-its and found this:

“Morality is a myth. Memory is invented. And forgetting is how we survive.”

i like this quote, it makes sense to me right now. On any other day I might have written it off as a bit too Dawson's Creek, but not today, this fit my day well.
